We have applied our extensive experience and knowledge to the development of a portfolio of innovative and reliable intervention tools offering greater versatility as well as significant functional benefits over current systems. By recognising the current limitations and challenges faced by existing systems, Petrowell believe that our intervention tools and services represent a major addition to the portfolio available to our customers.

Petrowell’s Intervention portfolio includes;

Permanent Bridge Plugs

• Large internal diameters (36 times that of the “current” market leader)  able to equalise in sub hydrostatic wells
• Designed with minimal moving parts for increased robustness and reliability
• All tested to v3 as a minimum

Isolation Retrievable Bridge Plugs

• Large ID and enhanced equalisation features are ideally suited to both under balance and overbalance applications.
• Inbuilt stops ensure that, should tubing burst during the set, the slips and element will not continue to stroke

• Fully retrievable with mechanical lock features to increase reliability

Non Explosive Setting Tool

With over 50 runs to date, one of our latest innovative products is the NEST (Non Explosive Setting Tool). The NEST is a battery operated, timer based device which enables downhole tools to be set without the use of explosives thereby eliminating the hazards associated with handling, operating and storing of explosives. Further reductions in operational and logistical costs and non productive time can be realized when Setting Petrowell’s ISO Plugs and Packers on NEST .
