About Petrowell

Petrowell supplied its first product in 2003 it was a bespoke ESP production packer- no ordinary packer and no ordinary application. The client came across many challenges but the packer proved to be a success and since that first application the Petrowell OBP packer range has enjoyed sale numbers in excess.

Petrowell has come far in the short years since it’s creation, today Petrowell has over 150 employees with 80 percent of our business coming from overseas. In 2008 it received industry recognition for the extraordinary achievement that is the CZI open hole packer.

Open hole sealing technology and related flow control systems is and will remain an increasingly important part of the Petrowell portfolio. The company has invested a great deal in this technology and have enjoyed a remarkable level of industry support, financially and technically.

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a technology that excites Petrowell and it has stirred up a lot of industry interest. Petrowell has heavily invested in a state of the art R&D facility, flow loops and assembly facilities looking forward to a bright future for RFID.

Petrowell has been busy negotiating with suppliers, partners, including other service companies and various manufacturing entities as surety of supply to clients and increasing volumes of sales have become pressing issues. Managing supply chain and operations as the companies geographic footprint has increased is another challenge which is being addressed.

Petrowell are looking to continue broadening their aspirations, taking on new technology challenges and building on its success.
